' I have won the JACKPOT' as intimated by customer care executive from mahindra resorts. Just a day back, I was asked to fill up the form for mahindra prize coupon. The very next day I got a call that I am selected as the lucky winner out of millionth for this mahindra gift voucher. At the back of my mind I felt that whether am I so lucky?? At the same time, I knew the gimmick behind this whole trap. The ONLY condition is that I should come along with my better half to collect this coupon.Despite making some appointments with Mahindra, I could not collect the coupon due to the professional engagements.
A lot of days had goneby and suddenly one day I got this call once again to collect thses coupons. Finally, I went to there office alongwith my wife. We knew that we would not get trapped in their game plan and we would come back after taking their free voucher. Somehow, we lost our path and mahindra executive was able to convince us that this could be beneficial for my family.
However, I had kept one thing in mind that I should cancel my membership within 10 days if I would not be satisfied with the membership.Now I researched a lot on internet and enquired few colleagues who had this membership. A member told me that I would not get the room for 2 consecutive days in any resort. I was taken aback that he was right as I could not get the confirmation for more than a day in couple of resorts.
This is a apathy that these guys keep on making the members without making any significant increase in the number of resorts. One thing that strikes my mind is that I would have to plan atleast 2-3 months in advance if I need to avail there facilities.After having lot of research, I decided to cancel our membership when my parents critically told me that these would not return my deposits. I almost given away the hope that I have lost the money and I would not pay the rest of the money.
But, at the back of my end I was thinking that this is Mahindra group which seems to have lot of ethics. Next day, I sent them a mail to cancel my membership. Even I got few calls for asking me the reason of cancellation calls after I made a request for the same.Now this is the professionalism which I was expecting from Mahindra group that I got my money back within no time..just a month after I made the cancellation request. I know that I had gone there just because of mahindra group which has something in it!
