Myself and my wife attended the Club Mahindra presentation over the weekend and decided to go for the membership. Basically we trusted the Mahindra values since we are part of Mahindra family.
This inspite of all the feedback on-line and my colleagues in my company. I always thought that was a exception. But I tried doing booking for the free vouchers they had provided and I now realize that all the complains people write/tell is a reality.
The major concern is members to room ratio is way too high. This means you only have a distant chance to top it they have this RED/Blue and White seasons which makes your holiday destination out of reach.
The customer service is extremely unhelpful, when I tried to book a room for Goa I was offered a stay in Utranchal. It does not make any sense to travel 3-4 days to Utranchal for a 2 day stay.
The same concerns are echoed by other people in this forum and other online forums. With a lot of pain I got to say that ClubMahindra is not lving up to the values of Mahindra. I hope CM wake up and work on their trust with customers, all these inspite of their higher membership cost.
Btw, I am going to fight to cancel my membership since I have tasted the medicine.
