17th Nov 2007 was a happy day for our apartment complex residents( in Whitefield, Bangalore)because of the Children's
Day Carnival. It was more so for us as we were lucky enough(or so we
thought)to win a gift certificate( from the lucky draw organised by
Mahindra Club Holidays. It was for 3 days and 2 nights at any of their
resorts. It took us several phonecalls to get a voucher in the 2nd week
of December. It was dated 1st Dec and was valid for 6 months ie till
the 1st of June. When we wrote to them for reservation this was their
reply-
Greetings from Club Mahindra!
Thank you for writing to us.
While we would have loved to confirm your reservation, at the moment
due to non - availability of rooms we are unable to do so. We regret
to inform you that the rooms are not available in any of the resort
for the reservation of the gift voucher. The validity of the gift
certificate is for 6 months hence we are unable to extend the validity
of the certificate.
Do mail us for further queries.
With regards,

We wrote to them, asking them to either extend the validity of the
voucher or to give reservation for any available dates.(earlier they
had asked us for dates of our choice)We talked to one Mr Krishnan who
said he will try to do something.Since then there has been no
communication from them and all our efforts to contact them have
failed. We do not know if there is any recourse open to us.We feel that
we have been the victims of a cheap publicity stunt.
