Unethical behaviour of Club Mahindra . Review on Club Mahindra Corbett Nainital

Mahindra club full of promises and assurances but when u get into it , then u realize what a big mistake u have made.

I bought the white studio apartment membership (rs.20000 something) on 21.07.12. I was a bit reluctant and didn't  want to do it at the first place but then the executive told me if I didn't like the idea, I had a time of 10 days to cancel the membership and get the full refunds back .

After a few days when I read all the details and did a bit of research work on club mahindra I realized that I didnt want the membership and decided to cancel it.  I gave a written application for the cancellation of the membership well within the rescission time limit on 30.07.12  to the pitampura office delhi.

I took a receiving of the cancellation request application and thank god I took it because later on when I contacted them for the details of my refunds I was told that they had not received any cancellation request. I wrote them a no. of emails regarding this and made a few calls. according to the club mahindra membership laws I should have received my full refund by 30.08.12.

Atlast  i scanned the copy  of the cancellation request  and uploaded it on the club mahindra site.  i did get a reply  assuring me of an action soon but  it didn't help. some new promises and assurances were made every time I called them or wrote an email.

Then  after a month an installment was debited from my account (Rs 9000 odd ).  upon calling the customer care people I was told that my membership was alive and not cancelled. I was surprised. so I again threw an email with the copy of my cancellation request  and the copy of my credit card statement to the club mahindra. I was again promised that the membership will be cancelled and the installment amount would be refunded to me. i'm waiting for those refunds till date.

I called the pitampura office a few days back n I was promised that I will receive the funds by 10th of october. I waited till 17th of october for their call but again in vain I was not contacted. so I called them once again. I was told I will still have to wait as the accountant is sick with a chronic backache and when he comes back will I be issued my cheque. what was the office doing for these 3 months? couldnt the cheque be signed for this long period? now the office will be shut for dusshera  and Eid and then the month ending , then the  new month and the new holidays and some new reasons and then we'll have diwali.  isnt the office paying salaries  to their employees? then why cant they just issue my cheques?

Are they running their company without an accountant? and what if  he does not come back for another couple of  days or weeks or a month or so??

It is going to be nearly 4 months now and we are exchanging emails and phone calls BUT NO MONEY IS BEING REFUNDED!! Mahindra is a multi billionaire company . such things will kill its reputation and spread a bad message.  is this how it is earning all its money by cheating people and making fake promises?!?!? are they going to refund me  my money at all?!?!  i am not sure abt that !! are they going to pay me the interest for the money they have not refunded till date?!?!  i am sure no!

I am waiting for refund of my money and repenting for the mistake I committed by becoming member of this unethical organization.

I hope by reading this review, people will become alert and avoid falling pray to this organization.
