Commercial chain where treatment takes a back seat. Review on Clove Dental

Had initially approached Clove Dental at Chennai(Velachery) for the repositioning of a tooth and had to have braces. Whenever we enquire they would treat us well and explain all the treatment procedures and all. They also said, Clove is spread all over India, so I can continue the treatment wherever I want. Within 5 months lock down started which is of course, understandable that it was a crisis time and my treatment had been halted for good 2-3 months. However, slowly the clinics around started opening, but Clove Dental. And then there was an emergency as the false tooth, that they had fixed 4 months, had been literally hanging with some thread and my teeth was in a bad condition. Despite this, reaching Clove Dental's customer care itself was nearest to impossible and when we call up also, they say they will check and come back, and it never happens. Finally, I ended up visiting to another local dentist(as other dental clinics were open) to remove that false tooth. Then also had a tough time in getting the necessary appointments and whenever we visit their clinics, they ensure that they discuss about the treatment fees. After this harrowing experience, how would I be interested in continuing the treatment with them? Meanwhile, I also had to shift to Hyderabad and although they said, the patient case transfer can be done, for which again, I had to call the customer care multiple times but in vain. Finally, I had sent an email to the Velachery clinic addressing the Orthodontist and CCed to dentist@clovendental.in. To my surprise, that had perfectly worked. I was given a call by Dr. Prasanna from general Patient Safety, who had patiently hearing all my concerns. She took due responsibility and addressed all my concerns and ensured I do not face an issue with appointment and continue my treatment at Hyderabad. During the course, because no review happened for quite some time, there was a formation of extra gums that required a surgery at extra cost. That was also done and my treatment resumed.

The best thing that I saw in Clove Dental is the service by Dr. Prasanna who indeed utmost responsibility after hearing all my concerns. The worst thing in Clove Dental is the lethargic attitude of the junior dentists, and also keenly focusing on the billing and payments, when treatment should not be taken a back seat!
