Cleartrip services not trustworthy. Review on Cleartrip

We booked A/C room for 2 days stay in this Hotel through Clear-trip Website on 5.4.16 as our trip was on 8.4.16.

We called the Hotel contact person Antony on 8.4.16 on reaching Vaalparai at 12 noon when we were about to check in.

The Hotel Manager Antony said that the A/C room is already occupied and he does not know about clear-trip. We were shocked and had a conversation with Clear-trip Customer care team and they said they will call back. After 1.5 Hours and several call back by us at around 1.30 pm the Cleartrip executive asked us check in saying that the same room was available. We reached the hotel at around 1.45 pm. The Hotel Manager did not allow us to check in and said the money was not credited to his account from Clear-trip and he left off from that place locking the office.

We once again had conversation with Cleartrip and asked them to offer equivalent stay at some other Hotel in Vaalparai as they said they cannot refund the money paid to them. At-last after having several debate with Cleartrip they agreed to refund our Money paid at 4pm. Because of this wrong attitude of the Silver stay Hotel Manager and Cleartrip, we were left on road hopelessly on streets and we had a very bitter experience and lost the whole day there. We did not have lunch and our entire family was frustrated as we did not know anybody there. Then a kind hearted guy helped us there to find other room in the same place. We also lost around Rs. 500 as Phone charges debating with Cleartrip customer care team. At-last our money was refunded but we still remember that trip, Silver stay Hotel and Cleartrip. Please beware of this fraud people.
