  1. HOTEL BOOKING INFORMATION: id 1212282274: I had booked a hotel on 1st january for one day and the cleartrip  voucher says check in at 1 2 pm and checkout at 12 pm. on reaching we came to know actual hotel check in is at 2 pm and moreso as it was new year the check was moved to 3 pm . so very frustrating to start a new year waiting and arguing with hotel person and clear trip and both want to push the blame on each other without solving it as both have got the MONEY in their pocket in advance .




I suggest please use expedia as once I had to cancel a hotel booking last minute due to emergency and expedia went out of their way to conference me with the hotel and not only that they refunded the entire money to me. I thought they would keep a retention but they didnt. They are very professional and I never faced any issues from them. They give all informations correctly.




  1. FLIGHT MISSED DUE TO INCORRECT INFORMATION BEING PASSED ON: I had booked a flight from clear trip ID no 13021411900 dated 27th March MUM COK flight of AI- 54 .




The ticket says Chatrapati Shivaji Airport Terminal 2. From this we gather its a domestic flight and the CSAT means domestic airport . I landed at the domestic airport well in time and at the gate they said its at the international airport. we called airindia  toll free number to inform we are reaching in a while which was 45 mins before tiime but  I was not allowed to board the flight and had to come back home  and pay a no show charge and take an evening flight - wasting one day of my holiday and wasting the hotel booking also.


and it was not just me and my husband . There were several other passengers - 20 plus waiting for something to be done for the same problem of LESS INFORMATION BEING PASSED ON AND REACHING DOMESTIC AIRPORT AND THEN RUSHING TO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. All the 20 plus passengers missed their flights due to same reason and airindia did nothing. Their officers didnt want to listen at all. Im totally frustrated.


In this we couldnt board the flight and missed it.


Then we called clear trip to inform this as the airport people said its a clear trip booking so speak to cleartrip. the customer care of cleartrip very conveniently says " the ticket mentions terminal 2" now please tell me " how will any layman know which terminal number is where and terminal 2 means international airport? I dont think so I need to understand terminal numbers of Goa, Bangalore or any airport . All I can understand is english if it menations Chatrapati Shivaji International airport, which is not mentioned on the ticket .


AIRINDIA made their money and got the money in their pocket and CLEAR trip also got its commission .


Now when it came to resolving the problem or refund or reissuing another ticket  -  Air india asked me to pay the difference no show and board a flight in evening . But I have lost the whole day of my holiday all because of lack of information. Clear trip did nothing.


I need to be compensated for this  or will I ever recommend  air india and  cleartrip both after this. like this?


Im also from hospitality industry and at a senior level and  we do not treat to our guests like this. We ensure they are happy and recommend us to anyone they speak which could cost us anything at the end, But customers are important. Im also frequently travelling and Im afraid I will not book airindia as no body bothered to solve my problem.
