I booked Executive room at Purple resorts Pondy through clear trip.com in End April 2015.
At that time clear trip told me that there are 3 categories viz, Executive, Deluxe and Luxury class rooms. I stayed for 3 nights and it was very satisfying.
Again when I planned a trip to Pondy earlier this month I approached clear trip. This time they informed me that only Luxury room is available and charged nearly double the rate.
When I went to the Resort I was informed that I can stay in the SAME room that I occupied last time.
I asked Resort Manager to give me Luxury room.he replied that All rooms have SAME facilities and that there is no separate room as LUXURY ROOM.They were surprised that Coeartrip has mislead me.
On my return I sent mails to Coeartrip and told them as to why should pay DOUBLEbthe rate FOR THE SAME ROOM.They are not able to give a satisfactory reply, may be because they know that they have over charged me for 2 rooms during this trip.
I am hopeful that they will refund the excess amount charged from me after seeing this mail.
