Although i'm not an android user I have noticed one thing that android user have some or the other mobile app installed on their phone for increasing speed, extending battery life and lord know what other purpose.
But let me tell you that you actually don't need these apps for any such purpose These were somewhat useful for the early android OS.
The android operating has its own handler which manages the RAM allocations for the optimal use. Android purposely tries to keep the apps loaded in RAM as ram is faster memory and speed is directly proportional to good and bad user experience. It also keeps track of the background app for better processor use. There is no actual performance drop for keeping the apps loaded in ram.
About the battery issue, the task killer app kills other apps which use resources to process. Then OS restarts those, or other apps to fill the memory again, which takes even more resources. The task killer app kills again and the process repeats over and over. So in reality, those kinds of apps reduce performance and increase battery usage by restarting apps again and again. Inactive apps doesn't consume any additional battery or CPU in the first place.
So avoid using these apps. Download wisely:)
