Is Online Education For Real ?. Review on Classontheweb

Hi,My name is Rahul.

I came across this site a few days ago . After reading the first page I was impressed but as I continued my journey through the site , I felt as if I was lost.

I do not have much against this site, but for

ONLINE EDUCATION as a whole.

Do you think that kids can really connect to the INTERNET to do their studies and learn when there are a billion more sites to distract them from Online Studies.Imagine putting yourself on a kids place and think about it.

Would you rather go to a site which teaches you how our digestive system works or a website for online games when you have free access to both of them. No matter how studious you are, you are bound to choose the second option as the attraction is too much to resist. Parents can't keep check on their kids activities all the time.

Parents may think that his/her child is learning his school work on the computer when the child is actually busy playing a game or drooling over a picture of a blonde bimbo on some porn site.

Think about it ,is ONLINE EDUCATION FOR REAL ! ? !

I don't think so !

online studies is a dream which will not be fulfilled in the near future.

There are many websites today which offer Online Teaching and such stuff but believe me there is nothing like the good old teacher - student classroom teaching.

Websites offer making lessons more interesting by using stuff like animations. Well I think it is all useless.A child can learn only if he is face to face with a real person. Learning can be done only in the right environment.

I think this learning environment can only be provided in schools.

In school kids communicate with each other , sit properly and give their undeviated attention to the teacher but the case is not the same in Online Teaching.

Another problem which hampers the popularity of online teaching is the time required for the animations,web pages , images etc to load. Children become impatient and anxious when the webpages take a long time to load and finally lose interest. After all the efficiency of the INTERNET depends on the computer specifications,modems etc. The sites are not to be blamed here.

Online education may sound really cool but believe me once you really explore it you will feel the same way as I do.

I am not discouraging the use of computers for studies but I am saying that learning can be done only in a proper atmosphere , a learning environment when you are face to face with teachers.

• CAN YOU IMAGINE STAYING AT HOME AND COMPLETING YOUR EDUCATION AND NOT GOING TO SCHOOL ?

  
  




• CAN YOU WAIT FOR BIG, LENGTHY WEB PAGES TO LOAD ?

  
  




• CAN YOU EMAIL YOUR DOUBTS TO TEACHERS AND WAIT FOR THEM TO REPLY BY EMAIL ?

  
  




• CAN YOU CONCENTRATE & NOT GET DISTRACTED BY THE OTHER STUFF YOU HAVE FULL ACCESS TO ON YOUR COMPUTER ?

  
  




• CAN THE INTERNET AND COMPUTER EVER REPLACE SCHOOL ?

  
  

The questions are out there ,it is the Answers which drive us crazy !
