If you are anything like me, mornings are not the best time of the day. But I do look forward to that morning shower, with the hot water running over my back. It is the next best thing to climbing back into bed. Clairol Herbal Essences Conditioner has a scent that can really help wake you up, especially in the early hours of the day. It comes in a plastic bottle, with a flip top. The conditioner comes out of a circular hole in the top, and glides nicely into your palm for easy application. The bottle is approximately nine inches in height, and fits easily into any shower caddy because of it's slim, long shape.
We've all probably seen the commercials for Herbal Essences -- some young woman who is seemingly in heaven while using this product in the shower. I doubted the validity of that advertising technique until I actually tried Herbal Essences. This ad definitely fits the experience. The smell alone of Herbal Essences makes my shower complete. It is a light, refreshing scent that arouses your senses. The conditioner, and the shampoo, really make my eyes open in the morning. And that says a lot, coming from me. Just ask my mother -- not much can get me going in the morning, except for maybe a good, strong cup of coffee. I have not had another conditioner or hair product that has had such an appealing smell. The scent is a purely natural smell, and is very invigorating.
From what I can tell, it is made from natural substances. To me, that is very important because I do not like to put a lot of harsh chemicals on my hair. It also tells me that Clairol is putting effort into making their products safe and wholesome.
The conditioner itself is creamy, and is a soft white color. It is neither too thick nor too runny, and spreads nicely throughout the hair. I usually let the conditioner set a few minutes while I finish my shower to get the full benefit of the product. Since I have begun to use this conditioner, my hair is very manageable and tangles much less than with other brands. I feel that Herbal Essences Conditioner has improved the look and texture of my hair. The conditioner lets my brush slide through my hair much easier than with previous brands of hair products. Clairol's conditioner lives up to it's expectations and surely does what it promises to do.
I think any hair type and texture would benefit from use of this product. I have not had any problems or irritations while using Herbal Essences, and have not had any bad experiences.
Clairol Herbal Essences is priced moderately and is well worth the money spent. It may be a little higher than some other national brands, but I feel it is of a better quality. The smell of the product alone entices me to become a repeat buyer.
Right after I began to use both Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner, a friend of mine came up to me and told me how good my hair smelled. She then smiley coyly and said, ''Clairol Herbal Essences, right?'' Apparently, she knew the same refreshing effects of using this product.
