Citylight Cinema is located in between Shivaji Park and Mahim , on the Lady Jamshedji Road of Mumbai.
It has the Citylight ( sic) market opposite to it which is famous for fish.
Coming to the cinema it has an alley which has to be crossed to reach its ticket counters which are two in number.
Better to book on BookMyShow or Paytm or any other app and then go there.
A lift or an elevator takes you to the fourth floor where the screening takes place.
If you go for a 9 am show you will not get anything to eat or drink till interval when the delicious Gurukripa samosas arrive ( priced at 40 per packet 2 samosas)
The seats are on the ok front and leg space is also decent.
The prime ones are at the back and rest all is universal.
The sound systems are decent but not great.
The screen itself is rife with pockmarks and you can see beauty spots on characters where there arent any.
The washrooms are clean and maintained well.
The air-conditioning is good.
There are ushers to guide you.
You can reach Citylight by bus routes 28, 61, 35, 37, 86, 201, 200 and many more , railway station Matunga ROAD western is nearest but still some distance.
L.J. Road being a main connecting road has many options of and for transport.
Dining option next to it is Shobha restaurant pure veg , or eateries like Goa Portuguesa , Status in a lane adjacent to it.
