I went to inquire/book new Honda activa at City Honda located in Kammanahalli. I had called them before going there, sales rep named Arun asked me to come down. After reaching there they offered me an activa for test drive. Less than 50 meters allowed for test drive. Okay I was fine with that. When I finished the test drive another rep came to Arun and shouted that "how can he give a about to deliver vehicle for test drive, the customer is waiting if he sees what will happen?" That showed their attitude, they did not have the patience to give me a demo vehicle for test drive. he was in a hurry.
Then he asked me when I want to book the vehicle, I asked about the on road price, the on road price was around 57, 477 with only the basic accessories like a center stand( No side stand too), and two mirrors. All other accessories the customer has to but separately. And he went on suggesting me what are the accessories I need to buy. I told I am not going to buy all those. all the time when we were talking he was interested to talk to some other people and was not interested to sell the vehicle.
Then he told crash guard comes in a set( Rs. 1700 for the set!) and I have to buy front bumper, front guard and the back guard all together even though all the three are listed separately in their list. I told I would need only front bumper guard to see what he would say. Then he didnt agree telling that we cannot give it so.
THAT WAS THE END OF IT. I SAID BYE TO THEM SAID THE MANAGER THAT I WAS ABOUT TO BOOK THE BIKE JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR ATTITUDE I AM NOT DOING IT. He was not much bothered said ok.
I went yesterday itself to Suzuki and booked an access which I will get tomorrow.
Never City Honda - Kammanahalli again, you too never go there they will test your patience.
