Citi Bank Account Closing. Review on Citibank

I have salary/suvidha account with citi bank after changing my job account did not remain salary account and I asked bank to close my account as they were saying to maintain 1 lakh amount to avoid any charges, which is far more then other banks hdfc only ask for 10000 rs. and give same service.

I forgot my password and my online netbanking is locked by bank now I cannot change password because of my debit card is also disabled, and citi bank refusing to pay rest amount in cash or by online transfer(i really cannot imagine bank refusing to transfer money by online), instead bank has policy to send DD only at registered address only.

So I need to visit bank branch to tell them please send my MY money to this address by DD because you don't trust me you only trust person who will receive this DD at my given address, very clever. I can understand all services is for new customers only and for who maintain 1lakh not for who want to close their account because bank want you to give 1 lakh rupee. Think before closing account in citi bank:)

Suggestion: Please transfer your all your money from citi bank before making account closing request, I did same thing but some money got deposited:) by previous company may be as previous year bonus which I was not aware of and money got stuck in cit bank.
