CitiBank's outdated services. Review on Citibank

My first account was with the Citibank when it was Infy's (Infosys) Corporate bank. Though they were the first of its kind in India--with the never before heard services, but they gradually lost/compromised on quality and the service drifted from bad to worst.

My money in this bank was mine only in the virtual sense. It was theirs and when ever they wanted it they could knock it off using some lame charges. During the period I was banking with them, unasked for Cards would land up for me and the carges levied accordingly. Unasked services charged for in the statements.

However the Internet banking of Citibank was good compared to any other bank. My Verdict is Honesty is always the best policy--it applies even to business.

So the moral of the story is that Citibank could have easily come up as the best bank if they had not lost on quality.
