AVOID CITIBANK PERSONAL LOANS AT ANY COST. Review on Citibank

I got a personal loan of 5 lakh from Citibank with Load ID LIABTS3552233 and code is 7777701060698005.It was as per the corporate Offer.I have taken this loan for some urgent medical expenses .I was in a idea to close the loan after a six months time. Now when I called up Citi phone officer She told there would a pre-closure charges of 5 percent and 5% would be pretty large amount since the loan amount was 5 lakh.This was not communicated to me while taking the loan by the executive. Bank has already taken a good amount processing fee.

The EMI that they are charging is 15%mothly reducing balance (low interest rate as they say) that means when I repay the entire amount It comes to more that 7.5 Lakh .I strongly suggest people not to go for any CITIBANK credit facility and don’t keep Distance JUST RUN AWAY FROM CICTIBANK CREDIT. GO for nationalized banks lie SBI or Andhra BANK even if they process bit late they don’t have all these hidden and rather untold facts which they relieve as and when needed and have low intrest rate.Don’t fall into prey into smart executives and fast processing. Enlighten as many as people you can I have published this in my company and requested the employees not to fall in TRAP of CITI .Usually Software professionals don’t look seriously into the documents and facts they just look at results. So many of us fall prey these private banks. Well it was my mistake You dont need to reapeat to repent
