I have applied for Credit card. CITI bank representative promised me that I will get at least credit limit of 2 lakhs. I explained him clearly that I have already 2-3 credit card having different limits. I need card having 2 lakhs limit because I am getting frustrated due to handling of many card. He confirmed 2 times that I will get requested limit.
After receiving credit, I was surprised to see only limit of 75 thousands. Representative was not picking up the call.So, I called customer care. Customer care representative told this is what you got. So I placed request for closure of card.
My friend suggested, don't close the card. So I called the CITI bank customer care and asked if I can halt the request. Customer care told me its still activated please use it. I am putting note to not to close this request.
After 1-2 days, I got message that, CITI Bank credit card is closed. I again asked customer care, they told me it's activated. Now when I trying to do transaction, its showing as declined.
Now this was even frustrating when I am customer care told me that, I can't reactivate the card by placing call which was conveyed by first representative. I requested for talk to manager and they place me on hold 2 times but still no solution.
So request you please not to use CITI bank because everybody will make you fool there right from first person to last person.
