Chromosome 6 was the great book which provides a complete knowledge about genetics.The one who read this book will have a complete knowledge about the chromosomes and they never feel any lack of information about chromosomes.This book also provides us a basic knowledge about the transcription and translation.The number of chromosomes that every different individual contain as we all know every human being contain 46 chromosomes similarly many other organisms contain different number of chromosomes .In this book they greatly explained the difference between the eukaryotes and prokaryotes chromosomes, abbrerations in chromosomes .It clearly explained about the different phases of cell divisions and changes occur in the structure of chromosomes during cell divisions and also the mutuations in the chromosomes during the metaphase and interface etc. I think the students of MBBS, FSc, DPT and some related fileds can follow this book for their exams, practicals, and for also gaining general knowledge .Myself being a student of DPT( doctor of physiotheraphy) following this book for knowledge .As a student I found a great thing in this book that is they described the complete history of the chromosomes which really helps to gain about a complete knowledge about chromosomes. schleiden, virchow and colleages discover the structure of the chromosomes and later it was named as chromosomes in a series of experiments as in the mid of 1880's THEODOR gave the complete definite demonstrations that chromosomes are the complete vector of the heredity.
