MUCH scarier than the movie, then again ALL of SK's books are better than the movies. Very descriptive and shocking!
The story holds you, glued to every sentence, you're biting your nails as you turn each page, learning more and more, your heart pounding, your mind racing as you read on to the next chapter.
I have an extensive SK library and this is one of the last books I add to my collection. I was toiling with the idea of buying it for a while, as I don't like to read the stories and books he writes if I've seen the movie first, but I found it at an old shop and just had to have it.
I'm so glad I bought it!
