I am ashamed to write that I was a student of this horrible cesspool of a college from 2006 to 2008.
The only good things about this college are-
Infrastructure is excellent. The campus itself is huge with a lot of greenery. There are 4 food courts, and even a bookstall where one can buy textbooks and stationery. The classrooms and labs also are well-ventilated and nice. The auditorium is a huge one and is not like a typical college auditorium- it's more like a theater.
The college encourages extracurricular activities like sports, music and dance. There are lots of facilities for sports like football and basketball.
Lots of hot chicks. You see them everywhere in the campus. They are seriously smoking hot and extroverted in the Indian sense.
Not too expensive. The college fees are reasonable and not as much as other colleges.
Dress code.
There are so many other disadvantages on the other hand-
Teaching sucks. Most of the faculty in the college are Mallu Catholics and have weird accents. They are completely inept to teach and also don't show any interest in teaching either. They are least bothered whether the 110 odd students in the class will ever listen to them. Some of these lecturers have openly revealed that if one wants to study and not enjoy life, Christ is not the college for them, they must join colleges like Vijaya, National, MES etc. There are exceptions of course, though they are few and far in between.
Student strength is too much. A class should generally have at most 50-60 students, but the college management is interested to make only more money by admitting hundreds of students, so each section has 110-115 students. Half the students will barely know each other despite being in the same classroom and the lecturers too are unwilling to reach out to all the 110-115 students.
Crowd is horrible. There is immense group-ism among the students in the college, just like in an American high school. In a class itself, the CBSE and ICSE students generally form a group among themselves. They are considered as the "cool" and "popular" students and are the ones who usually are known throughout the college. They are highly arrogant, conceited and extroverted and bully people whom they consider inferior i.e. State Board students.
There is no place for humility, decency, integrity and hard-work in this college. Such people who espouse these values will certainly be looked down upon by the "majority" nerd-hating cool students and will be exposed to constant verbal taunts from them. They will also be shunned as so-called "untouchables". You will gain respect only if you play the guitar, love football, show disinterest to studies, hate anything Indian culture, hate anyone speaking in Kannada, have loads of cash, ride a sports bike, have a fancy phone, drink alcohol, smoke tobacco/ weed, love rock music and dress fashionably.
The hot chicks too will come after you only if you have the qualities which makes you get respected in Christ. And holy, even the chicks smoke here (the hot ones that is)!
Rude administration. The fathers are not approachable and the office and support staff screw you for every small thing. One can't even access Facebook in the lab!!!!
Mobile phones not allowed.
Final Verdict- This college is only suitable for people who wish to enjoy life and get hot chicks to have sex with and not for those who really want to study and come up in life.
