I have some wonderful experiences to share which I have come across with "Chowgule's " Pune ( India ) . Like every customer would expect his car to shine every time he/she steps in to go at work in the morning. I too am one of them. My dear 'Friends', Chowgule's can really bring a smile to your face every time you step in your car. May it be the cleanliness, engine tuning, polishing the car inside out and the works you name it....Total car care at a fairly resonable price. The best part is they have an eye on the watch when you are waiting for your car. Now that's called value for time.
I bought a Maruti Wagon R Duo from Chowgule's Pune Satara rd . Good finance options and quick paper work. They even come home to colect the papers needed and provide test drives at your door steps. Its now been more than a year and a half I am in business with them, trust me its been a pleasure. Let me explain why...
My first car. I was very excited to have seen it waiting at the delivery area while walking in the showroom to do some last formalities. I was handed the keys and was escorted to the car. The Marketing Manager introduced himself to me handed me a plate with traditional puja thali and requested for a photograph with the car. I was taken back by the warmth. Add to my surprise was given a 5 Liter free fuel coupon.
A few days later the sales representative " Mr Pravin " who assisted us at the showroom, met me at a road signal and instantly recognised the car by the registration number. He drove near me and greeted me with a smile, asked me as how the car was and if there was anything he could do. A week later I kept visiting the showroom to inquire about the car audio systems and accessories till the time I made up my mind. I was greeted with same enthusiasm every single time I walked in. I would say they have patience and willingness to serve.
Soon I had my first servicing due for the car as had rang out on Km ( Not the number of days ). I called up for an appointment and was given options.
1). Would you like a pick up and drop facility at your door steps.
2). Would you like your car serviced at night so you have it handy during the day.
3 ) Would it be more comfortable for you to leave your car at the service station ( on the outskirts, Katraj rd ) and then avail shuttle service back to the showroom ( heart of the city Satara rd, City Pride ) .
4) Have express service which take an hour or so and you can wait at the customer lounge. That was awesome. Plus SMS confirmation for the appointment.
They have a small track where they test the car before servicing to check for any extra work needed. rattling noise and stuff. Approx estimate is given and a chart is made. Estimate is almost perfect @ 2% to 3% . The work area is clean and well maintained unlike the other garages in pune. Staff are well spoken and attentive like I said they value time. While you wait for your car to get its final touch ups before delivery you can comfort yourself at the "Customer lounge". You are served with Tea, Coffee and water. Have magazines to read and never the less Cell phone charging station. Wow.
When the car is done, you have that feel good factor . The car dashboard shining, engine and rattling noise Smooth function and pick up, clean and perfect tuning. Its a devine feeling. That makes you open your walet wide to the price you pay for the service with a smile. Note : Very very reasonable.Within just a few days you will be receiving the follow up calls and Emails from the Chowgule's just to make sure all well and if there is anything that they can help with. I make it a point to send them the positive feedback. To be honest a very few people in India really do show their appreciation.
Now that I have paid servicings done. Its value for money. The car still shines and is smooth as ever. Once during an emergency stop I pulled the hand break. Every time I pressed the break peddle later on it made a cranky noise. During a follow up call from Chowgule's I happened to mention this and they offered to send a technician home to fix it. Anyway I got it fixed the next morning from a friend next door.
I once met with an accident and the car was mended so well that not even a dog could sniff its defects.
At times when you are revering your car you may bump in to something that is not visible in the either of the mirrors or the reverse camera. During a test drive after servicing one of their staff members happened to bump in to a obstacle while reversing the car. Not his fault. The rare bumper had a small crack and was replaced with a new one with out me saying a word for free. That's called professionalism. I have a tiny sticker under my Sun flap where the Chowgule's pin down the next servicing details. If I happen to overlook it I do get a reminder call and sms. Many of my friends have bought their cars from Chowgule's on my word and they have been very happy with the after sales service. Its always been a pleasure being in business with " Chowgules " .
To all those who wish to have a wonderful drive all the time. Buy your car from " Chowgule's ", get your car serviced on time." Treat the car like your baby and it will take car of you. " that's my moto.
