Want to Fly a Helicopter?

Want a really cool toy to play with. Well I will tell you about one! This toy is so cool trying to get your kids to let you play is very hard to do. You will have to sneak in some playtime when they are not looking. When they are at school is the best time I have found. Besides the box does say ''Adult Supervision Recommended'' and what better way to make sure that my son has a great time with this toy than to play with it myself.

Chopper Patrol by Jasman® is a really great toy. What is it you say? It's this chopper patrol that you are in control of. It has a white police helicopter that has dual flight control that allows you to hover, climb, descend, go forward and reverse.

There is also a 48-inch full color mat that has roads, trees, and areas to put the three buildings such as a police station, hospital and hi-rise tower building.

The chopper really flies by the battery operated dual control. There is a launch pad that allows you to practice landing and taking off and with enough practice you can actually do it! You can watch the helicopter go round and round or you can try to land it. You can put the helicopter down anywhere on the mat you choose. And with patience you can learn to pick up the toy cars by the accessory hook that is attached to the landing skids that are at the bottom of the helicopter. This is a neat trick to show all the family when you have learned to do it! Your child can learn to do it as well, when you decide to let him/her play.

The hooks are removable and the buildings fold up for easy storage. But of course getting my son to do these is not an easy task. It's easier for him to let me play instead! But I have to admit with a stern warning about never seeing his Chopper Patrol again has helped. No not really, he puts his things away. That's a rule any our house.

You are command! You can start and stop the engine, you can lift off, hover, change altitude, change speed, change direction and touch down. You can have so much fun with this toy.

You also get a motorcycle, racecar, police horse, police car road barrier and roadblocks. I like to place these all over the mat and try to pick them up. But most of the time I crash into them instead. That's fun also.

My son and I will play for hours crashing into things. Once in a while we get serious and actually pretend to save someone! My husband likes to play with us as well and as a family we all have a great time. On occasion my son will play alone in which he gets very creative by using his blocks to build with and set cars on and crash them. He will pretend that someone is stranded on a mountain and he rescues him or her and takes him or her to the hospital in which he put him or her on alert! It is so wonderful to see my son enjoy himself and to see that he really does understand what rescue is all about.

My son also takes his other cars and trucks and places them on the mat. He builds other buildings with his blocks and he places his army men around and he plays with them all!

There is also a flashing strobe light that really lights up. The helicopter actually works and once the entire set is put together there are hours of fun to be had.

The launch pad sits in the middle of the mat and extends out with a long stem that attaches to the dual control. The helicopter wire stems from the center of the pad, upwards and the helicopter is attached to the end of this flexible plastic wire that allows the helicopter to lift easily.

On the helicopter you will find the words

To Protect and Serve'' with a police emblem. This makes you child feel that they are really the rescue team!

When the toy is not being used the helicopter is weighted just enough to bend the plastic wire for easy storage without breaking it. The mat folds up as well and all can be placed in an area of the playroom or child's room with no problems. The launch pad and control stays connected.

The set includes:

Chopper Patrol Police Helicopter

Dual Flight Controls 6

''Skyhook'' Accessories

Radar Screen

Colorful Play Mat

3 Fold Up City Buildings

Light Up Display Label Sheet

Instructions

4 D batteries are needed. For ages 8 and over. (The and over part is where you will come in at.) And the helicopter makes real chopper sounds. It is so cool!

The cost was $49.99 (American Dollars) and well worth it to me. Just seeing my son play with it makes it worth it!

From the Box

IMPORTANT SAFETY MESSAGE. Keep moving chopper blades away form eyes, face and fingers at all times. Use with caution in an area clear of people and pets. Use only in wide open areas at all times. Adult supervision recommended.

I have never purchased a toy made by Jasman® but this is one I am sure glad that I did. (Well Santa did.)

You can go to their website for products and more information about them. That site is found at https://jasman.com.

If you are in the market for a fun, family toy, I highly recommend the Jasman® Chopper Patrol for hours of family fun or for hours of just peace and quiet because your child/children will be busy.

I am sure that most of us parents play with our children with most of their toys. And this a very good thing for us to do. It is always fun for me to watch my son play and to get right down in the floor with him and play as well.

I hope that this has helped in some kind of way.

God Bless!
