By now all of you must have seen colourful ads posted by IIPM (Indian Institute of Planning and Management), I wish to share some of my friends agony with that institute and the reality behind those courses.

First of all, it is not recognised by UGC, hence it carries lesser sense in enrolling there. Then the course fee is some what around 12 Lakhs, and they assure some training in UN, Geneva and those stuff, In my opinion it is of lesser importance when we pay heavily and get trained. For example any body can attend one week work shop at IIM's and get a certificate in it, does it mean he is worthy of it, not necessarily, if one has money certainly he can get a short term certificate, also please note that the founder of IIPM is Mr.Choudhary, who was ex-IIM Bangalore, and in competition to IIM he has started this institute, which is run by his son Arindham choudhary, who has neither formal training in running the institute nor the expertise. Also note Arindham choudhry is popularly (?) known for his book, Count your chickens before it hatches. Wow, the title of the book itself says what a brilliant person he is.

My request to all the readers is., please dont get carried away with colour ful ad's and ranking (?). Judge yourself, before investing your hard earned money.

My friend invested some 12 lakhs, he was assured a job and he is extremely good in academics, but now he is repenting for his mistake and licking his wounds, when he enrolled he thought it is as good as IIM, btu later after seeing the faculty he literally fainted, so before enrolling please please think twice.
