I have LG AC's at my home... for some reason this time I selected a Samsung 2 ton. Why? I was to be taught a lesson for never to choose a new brand? Firstly the installation guys were the worst lot I have seen; they didnt have a clue about how to level the AC; they found the rear fan cover broken so thy went ahead and plastered it with loads of tape.
They told me its just a cover; I trusted them!!! After they installed the AC... it started making an ugly sound so they kept levelling it for some time and finally gave up. The next day an enginner from Samsung Came; he also was unable to rectify the problem so he went ahead and called some so called senior engineers. They changed the fan; not the cover and managed to get it started after doing a make shift arrangement by Packing Thermocol all around the machine.
They have given me a writtes statement that the machine is defective and needs to be replaced but according to Samsung's policy thats not possible. If anyone heard my AC running you would feel you are sleeping in a car without a silencer. Believe me its that bad. I am going to escalate the issue to the forums. My installation complaint number with Samsung was : 8410246842. They responded to my complaint after had called them over 5 times. So... this is Samsumg.
