I had purchased Haier Water Heater, Model Matrix spa ES 25V P-1 on 19.01.11. It worked well till Nov 2015, when its display started showing "E-1" for which I complained to their Customer care Department on 11 Nov 2015. After 3 days a mechanic visited & said that its chip needs to be changed which he will arrange from the company. I got a call from him after about a fortnight that it has been arranged & he wants to come to my house. I told him that I will call him after 2-3 days at my convenient time & also since new problems were evolving in the water heater, which I wanted to observe for a day so that it could be rectified in his visit.
When I rang him up after 2 days, he told me that chip that was arranged for me, has been installed in some other client's water heater & he will requisition a fresh one for me. Almost 1 month has elapsed. In spite of repeated complaints to the customer care department, they have not arranged the chip due to which my water heater is not working.
I would strongly advise all readers to use simple Indian water heaters which can be repaired by your local electrician or plumber & not above mentioned product whose parts have to be arranged specially from factory or from China. After all, you don't need rocket science for water heating. I got carried away by the glib talking/hard selling by the seller but readers can learn from my experience
