Good Product.. At last I got my Washing companion. Review on Choosing a Washing Machine

Good evening!

I Live in chennai.

At last my search for the best washing machine ends.. searched like anything for reviews about different washing machine brands to select the best one for me..

Read reviews from various forumz and this website too.

I Was so confused to which one to go since competition is very stiff and everybody is offering handful features on washing machines.. SAMSUNG or LG or IFB.

At last I convinced to go for IFB after lot of speculation. I selected IFB Digital 7 KG machine which is topeend model in IFB..

My experience : (as most people worried customer care service, even I was before buying)

1) Ordered the washing manchine in the afternoon around 1 Pm ..got at home at 6 Pm (Very good service)

2) Just after purchase got a call after an hour of purchase about the Demo.

3) Next day morning Demo person came (I reminded them) in time..and Installed the machine..

4) He took 140 rs (for a hose which attached pipe from washing machine to Tap) Weird!! I think in outside market it wont be more than 40 Rs. (i didnt like this pricing really)

5)He did the demo and explained the feature pretty well ( no actuall washing since my power socket not having earth connection. :( Please make sure to check Earth is provided in the electri socket) due to this I tried the washing today after getting it fixed by Electrician)

6) I was advised to use only FrontLoad specific washing powder (i bought surf excel) which bit costly than normal washing powder.

6) At last, I selected daily wash program and rinseplus option and added washing powder and started it..

ITS RAN VERY COOL. really I dont think LG direct drive would give much better less noise..Noise is very much reasonable other than when in Rinseplus STAGE..MACHING SHAKES heavyly (hope we should have stand to control that)

7) I was just watching my machne tumbling my clothes and expecting a good result..at last the time came.. my machine shows End message on display...i got my clothes out..

the result is very clean clothes.. ( only I know how much dirty the clothes were before I put inside) and I AM VERY HAPPY TO THAT MUCH RESULT and its COMPLETELY DRIED OUT (since this seems to be a 100 % dryer too) (1200 RPM)

Clothes came outside dried with almost 90 %..

I just tried with Daily 40 wash program.. and as per suggestion I just cleaned out wet part of door with a towel and insde rubber of door.. (Please do this other wise powder particles may get jammed there)

Pros:

1) Efficient Cleaning

2) Low noise ( I dont feel really whether this is making much noise, I dont expect a machine which is completly silent)

3) No problems inbetween wash cycle

4) Lot of space (really I like this) At a time we can put 20 clothes

5) Till now, I dont have any problem with Delivery of product and Demo and service personnel issues, hope my machine friend will do good..

6) 4 year warranty ( no other machine gives this)

Cons(Not much importance to this I am a positve thinker :)

NO ONE EXPECT ALL THE BEST THINGS IN ONE PRODUCT..

1) High price..(its natural, since high end model and huge capacity)

2) Extra cost on detergent (DONT USE NORMAL DETERGENT AS IT WILL GENERATE MORE FOAM) which is not good for machine or rinse not a real disadvantage if you consider machine life..

3) machine shakes heavliy (when u opt for rinse plus I think machine use highest spin RPM 1200). This seems normal and not sure if we install a IFB stand for this wont it ?(will check it anyway with IFB) Just try lower RPM spin Lower the spin -- lower the drying efficiecny..

4) Additonal Cost :again, demo personnel said, I need to buy stand (which he said that machine wont shake and wont get rusted + a cutoff meter like stabilizer which contrls voltage issues + a water filer to filer salted water) totalled about 3500 ) . But I yet I have not yet gone for this.. (bit surprise for additonal price ). any way I will rethink if these are good for my machine..

5) Lack of Soak option when compared to all other IFB models :( (i didnt notice this initally and missed this option) -- But I am convinced that Prewash option which is there is equvilent to Soak option(i am not some expert can clarify this).. I dont feel separate soak option will make difference , if you really to want to soak and just soak it manually and put inside and run..hhahahaha and a 1 one hour wash cycle is much enough to clean the clothes.

Though there is no much importance for above cons points..

I definetly recommend this machine....more all its my friend...:) in washing clothes.

I am not a techinal expert but just posted what I felt.. Hope this review will be useful for others to buy suitable machine..thank you..
