We bought this CUTE LG front loading washing machine on 1st-July after so much of R&D work from internet.
Why this machine? High level reasons as below:
Reason no 1 is, LG provides 10 years Warranty on Direct Drive Motor and 2 years on other parts. Anyway we can take AMC to cover the rest of the parts for the next few years.
Because of the Direct Drive Motor. Did so much of research work from internet. Took my own time to understand what is Direct Drive Motor Technology and its advantages over Conventional motors.
Service support after Sales.
Earlier I had another brand in my mind, but at last decided LG 1056 LDP based on the above 3 factors.
The main advantages of Direct Drive motor as per the internet search are as follows:
- Motor is attached to the drum directly and hence the traditional Pully concept is avoided.
2.Hence the vibrations during dryer is very low when compared with other Front loading machines.
- Since the power is delivered directly to the motor, energy/electricity is not wasted.
If one is particular about the Timer display then, LG 1056 can be decided, else there are other starting versions of LG Front loading - Direct Drive Motor at much lesser price.
For spending additional few thousand rupees, I got some of the features such as
Child care wash,
Medic Rinse
Time delay
Timer display.
Hand wash and many more.
Pros:
Direct Drive Motor technology - Less vibration, Less noise, easy to handle, Savings in Electricity.
Motor warranty of 10 years.
Service after sales.
More features and very very easy to handle.
Cons?
- Priced more than20K - I leave it to you to decide whether it is advantage or disadvantage.
