Whirlpool cheating the customers. Review on Choosing a Washing Machine

I am writing this review after using the whirlpool 855 LEW front loader for a year.

After  a 1 year of using the machine all of sudden it stopped working. When we called whirlpool they sent a technician he checked and told us timer is gone and parts are not available so we have to wait .I waited for 1 weak there was no update from whirlpool so I called them they said parts didn't come so I have to wait for some more time. After 1 more week there was no update from whirlpool so I called them again and I got same answer. After another week of waiting I lost my cool and shouted on  their service center guy they said they will address the issue soon (3 weeks over by this time).

After couple of  days I got a call from Whirlpool saying that they will replace my machine as machine part are not available and I have to come with original bills etc . luckily I had original bill and I went with all the details they asked .(MAK building Lalbagh).The person over there took the details and told me I will get the replacement within 10 days .So I waited for 10 more days and no replacement arrived. Again I called them up(40 days over) they didn't pick my call. I started to continuously ring them up and after 1 hour try guy picked the call.

Again he said he will check and cut the call.After 2 days I got a call from whirlpool .the person told me he can't replace the machine  and my machine is 1 year old so value is depreciated by 20% I had paid 20000 so after depreciation the cost is 16000. And for same model now it costs 25000 so I have to pay additional 10000 from my pocket if I want new machine. I couldn't believe my ears. Where on the earth cost of machine increases after a year.

Besides they told me they will replace the machine now they are asking me to pay 10000 for new machine. First they made us to wait almost 1 and half month.It was very inconvenient for us as both of us are working. They never bothered to call and  update us during this time. Every time we had to call and push them  and each time we called they used give us new number and asked us to follow with those guys It was like dealing with some government officials. I had enough of this. I have decided not to let them have their way and drag them to the consumer court.
