False and Fraudulent claims of IFB. Review on Choosing a Washing Machine

IFB washing machines' operation manual and guarantee cards mention their machines ever and again satisfying customer's family needs of washing clothes. Its website claims total customer satisfaction and excellence through perfection in manufacturing. But this is false which company never intends to honour   and  are  made only to lure the customers by fooling them and  to stand in competition with other companies  through these false claims and as such unfair trade practices as defined in consumer protection act and fraud as defined in criminal law. Since through these false claims IFB also succeed in luring the customers and  attempts to get higher clientele than its competing companies and establish un-healthy practices of competition it is liable to be complained to Competition commission also. I am also a victim of its above noted and other false claims like thousands of other customers.

I purchased fully automatic washing  machine  on these claims of IFB which has become a junk within few months as its shockers, control panel and other major parts all need to be changed which cost more or less the same amount as of IFB's new machine. This exposes its fraud and shows which type of their perfection in manufacturing and excellence is and that their  machine does not give satisfying service even for months what to talk of giving ever and again satisfying service. I have already spent Rs.5500/- and paid this amount to their man, Manoj Singh Mobile No. 9717158564  who had come to give demo of the machine on IFBs behalf and whom due to that I believed as their man and called for checking the machine thereafter when their other technicians did not set the faults of jumping and noising etc.right. He removed the gearbox of the machine and put the one of IFB make in its place by claiming fault in the gearbox, charged Rs.5500/- wrote guarantee and receipt and left with removed gearbox and when complained that the machine had now totally stopped functioning neither responded to repeated SMSs nor attended any telephonic call  when IFB was contacted it first stated that they had removed him on theft charge and thereafter that he had left their company 6 months back but have not provided his address till date despite courts direction which shows their hand in glove with him.

However based on their false claims of excellence in manufacturing, total customer satisfaction, their machines ever and again satisfying customer’s family needs of washing cloths etc., aggrieved  customers can file complaints against the company through out their lives particularly when IFB  claims guarantee their product giving satisfying service the whole of life(as is clear from ever and again satisfying service claim of the company). Therefore all customers who are not satisfied with washing machine of IFB and do not get their grievance redressed like me can file complaint in consumer court and other courts for the same. Don't allow IFB to run its business based on false and fraudulent claims which they do not intend to honour. Now after posting of my complaint on certain websites they offer changing PCB of the machine which is left with non-working of major parts and need to be re-placed for which their above claims made to public give whole life guarantee/warrantee. Prof.Kamal Jit Chhibber, Advocate, 98-C, Pocket I, Mayur Vihar, Phase I, Delhi-91, Mobile 9868072189
