If you are planning to buy a vacuum cleaner it's better to ignore the brand and price and to go for the one that will really suit your requirements.

normally people go for cheap items, but one must know that good things are normally not cheap

For example if you've got a big house go for a vacuum cleaner with a large brush head and enough power.

sameway for carpets you need a powerful cleaner with enough suction power and hard brush,

It's also worth taking in view the different floor types.

Always go for a bigger dust bag, as sometimes you may need it as they can carry more dust and you need not go to through dust every now and then

now you need to take care that you need a bigger and powerful cleaner for your home ( rooms, carpets, sofas etc)

whereas you may need a smaller one for you car, computer, TV etc.

i have seen many people having big vacuum cleaners in their small flat in multi storey apartments and they are unable to carry that big one up to their car to clean it from inside.

whereas smaller ones are of no use when needed to clean the roof, ceiling fans, big sofa sets etc.
