Husqvarna HuskyLock 910

The Husqvarna Huskylock 910 serger is one of the best on the market today.

The over all appearance of this machine leaves you with the thought it is large.  If you want a heavy duty industrial type machine then they come large.  You can get small models on the market but I have found they do not do the things this Husqvarna Huskylock can do with such ease.

Getting down to the basic's the machine is easy to thread.  The door to the loopers is marked with easy show pattern as to where what thread goes where on this machine.  Now that you have the machine threaded and turned on, the suggestion window on this machine makes suggestions as to what stitch you should use, but if you decide you want a narrow stitch rather then a wide and a three thread instead of a four thread over lock then this machine is the one for you.  The machine will tell you if the stitch you wish to use will work on the material your sewing.  The window is large and easy to read.  I love the amount of stitches this machine can do!

The changing over from one stitch to another is simple to do and I am still experimenting with this machine but have found there is little it cannot do. Remember to use the right needles for the right material with this machine.

Cleaning this machine is a snap on the inside, on the out side is another matter specially around the spool thread holders.  Now I have a small air compressor so I can blow it out, but the small brush that comes with the machine works just as good.  The accessory kit is nice especially the tweezers.  Mixing up different types or weights of thread is easy.

A problem did arise on a machine that had a manufactures fault and it took some time to get the machine replaced, I do not hold Husqvarna at fault on this one but I do hold the sewing machine store I purchased the machine from at fault.    Husqvarna is easy to work with and they will do what they can to help you, but they do not want to up set the sewing machine store owners so keep that in mind when dealing with Husqvarna.  My thought here is the customer should  be the one they do not wish to up set.
