Monitor or Visual Display Unit ( VDU) is one of the most important output parts of a desktop computer. Even monitor can be connected with a laptop too. Always buy an LED or LCD monitor. In my opinion LED monitors are the best to use. In earlier times, monitors were simple like CRT TV. But nowadays technologies have been developed. Choosing an LED monitor has many good advantages. The picture clarity is superb on LED monitors. Also they are electricity conserving and never get heated much. They have better viewing angle and color correction too. Also they have very light weight. Their price ranges are also not high and starts from just six to seven thousand rupees.
Buy from a world famous and most trusted electronic brand like LG, Samsung, Sony, Frontech, Acer, Dell, MSi, Asus etc. Buying from trusted brands gives you extra security, durability and support. It can be easily bought from both online as well as offline electronic market.
Go for at least full HD or 1080p resolution monitor. You can buy even 2K, 4K UHD monitors too according to your choice, but never buy below 1080p because below 1080p, you will never be satisfied by playing high quality videos or high graphic games on it.
If you wanna play some good graphic games on it or play some movies or even want to use video editing software, then I urge you to go for reasonably big size monitor. For such purposes, buy at least a 20 inch screen sized monitor. Because the size of the screen will enhance your gaming as well as watching experience.
Choose your monitor such that it has higher refresh rate, high contrast or brightness, High Dynamic Range ( HDR) and good aspect ratio. The specification of any monitor can be checked easily via online before buying it.
