Dr. Sanjay Chugh-Blood sucker not a doctor
Jun 16, 2008 04:07 PM 22563 Views

I have very bad experience with Dr Sanjay Chugh. He is a very well known psychiatrist in Delhi.I had been visiting him for the last three years. In the last three years he kept raising his fee from Rs 1500 to Rs 5000 for half an hour.I was suffering from serious depression. He put me to his counseller.Normally he has employed young student counsellors who have no or very little experience, basically they are trainees.

On the top of it he is charging Rs 1500 for half an hour.In three years my  condition was getting worst and I was told this will take some time. But my common sense prevailed that if there is no improvement in three years, I must take second opinion.I went to see Dr.Jitender Nagpal senior psychiatrist at Vimhans. He charged Rs 500 no time limit and referred us to a very senior professor Dr Aruna Bruta. She immediately on the very first meeting diagnosed that you are suffering from very serious depression and you must take medication.

She immediately referred me back to Dr Nagpal for further investigation. She charged Rs 500 for one hour.I have no objection to Dr Chughs charging any amount of fees but when they do not provide required service and prolong the procedure just to extract the more and more fees from patients its highly unethical and as per law of nature this kind of money cannot bring happiness to their homes rather will be cursed by their patients and in the long run their practice will alo go down.I request people to share their experiences if they have any with Dr.Sanjay Chugh.
