Never Buy Electronic products "on line" in India
Nov 11, 2013 07:08 PM 14979 Views

India is full of business-men who want to become rich overnight. These guys have no values or ethics.  Their only purpose is to make money by hook or by crook.  One such area is MAIL-ORDER BUSINESS, where buyers and seller do not come in eye to eye contact with each other. The sellers keep changing their names and sell their products through mail order companies, who advertise so much that the buyer thinks that the seller is the company like TRADUS, JABANG and eBAY.

Buyers get sold to these known names and place order.  They trust the mail order company, without realizing that the mail-order company is actually working as a middleman.  The mail order company gets the cut and the seller who may be operating from an unknown corner of a house is just as product pusher. This guy buys repaired electronics products and pushes to customer.

I have faced a nightmare from Jabang on buying a Philips DVD. The seller is a small 4'X4" stall owner in a remote inaccessible area om Estern Suberbs of Mumbai. He operates by pushing repaired and seconds products after getting order from Jabang.com.

After having burnt my fingers, I will advise for sure, "Please never buy electronic products from any mail order company."  It is worth taking trouble of going to a retail show room and buy one after comparing price and performance. In case anything goes wrong there is a shop keeper who would not like to spoil his reputation and if needed, will give you good service.
