I have read so many reviews here on Mouthshut about dealers and servicing staff being unprofessional, rude etc…. but have you ever thought why these guys are so daring. Its not because they are any special, its just because that we(consumers) are pathetically coward.
Its in our Indian blood, we are born cowards and we hide our cowardice by naming it as “respect for seniors, our great culture and tradition”, but deep within we all know that we are always afraid of anyone/everyone who is in better position than us. Don’t you ever realise how the rich and powerful get whatever they want, haven’t you seen all these so called dealers and service guys running on their toes when some high ranking officer or any other powerful person comes to them.
I don’t know how many of you have been abroad, but there the dealers, shopkeeper or for that matter any service provider can be dragged to court for smallest of wrong done on their part. The rules are all same in India but they are followed(or not followed) in totally different manner, and also(as mentioned above) we are too lethargic to avail any facility that is given to us, but of course, we will certainly crib and crib and crib and crib. We will praise WEST and curse our own country, but while doing so keep in mind that any country is as good as its citizen.
The best I can advise is, to record all conversation with the dealer(almost all mobiles nowadays can do that efficiently) and use this as a proof while lodging complaint in consumer forum. Its high time, drag these unprofessional bast. to court for all issues(no matter small or big). Power comes from within. If you see any injustice done, be stern, get your friends and relative together form a group, there is great power in MOB. 1+1=11. Keep the things calm but never be afraid to rough out. Don’t hide your cowardice by calling yourself a follower of Bapu. Also pledge to yourself that you won’t break any law(not even jumping a RED LIGHT) unnecessarily(except in dire emergency), you can only shout on someone if you are better than him/her Get the number of consumer forum of your area and for God sake don’t comment on this review by giving excuses and countering it. Thank you. Be brave, you may fail once or twice but not always.
