Eat more fruits and be healthy forever

We all have heard the famous quote - "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". And it is very true if we adopt in our daily routine to take some fresh fruits in our diet. No doubt about the fact that apple is a best fruit with all essential nutrients but other fruits also have their own significance with the health point of view. Fruits are the most natural food from the nature and are very easy to take in our diet, just make this sure that the fruits we are going to have must be clean enough thru any mean.


Fruits are full of energy, water, fiber, fat, protein, sugar & many vitamins vit A, vit C, vit B1, vit B2, vit B6, vit E.


*Some of the fruits easily available to us are:


*Apple, Apricot, Avocado, Blueberry, Blackberry, Banana, Carrots, Cranberry, Cherry, Date, Fig, Grapefruit, Red Grapes, Guava, Gooseberry, Kiwi Fruit, Kumquat, Lemon, Lime, Lychee, Mandarin / Tangerine, Mango, Melon, Red Water Melon, cantaloupe, Olive, Orange, Papaya, Passion Fruit, Peach, Pear, Red Bell Pepper, Persimmon, Pineapple, Pomegranate, Plum, Strawberry, Tomato, etc, etc.

Why should we have five to nine fresh pieces a day, organically grown if possible?


For the largest part fruit consists of water just like the human body does:


Like 80% of our body is water so does 80% of fruit consist of water!


If you think about it, it's logical for the human body to consume food that contains as much water as the body itself. The nutrition that meets that requirement is fruit. There is no other food than fruit on this planet that contains on average 80% water. Vegetables also contain a lot of water and are therefore second best.


Fruit is 100% bad-cholesterol free:


No doubt about this argument. Too much bad-cholesterol is not good for our bodies and fruit doesn't contain bad-cholesterol. Animal products like meat and dairy contain a lot of bad-cholesterol.


Fruit stimulates the memory:


If you didn’t know yet: fruit is the ultimate brain fuel. Fruit has a positive effect on our brains. The way this works still has to be found out and many scientists are looking into it as we speak. What we do know is that if you consume fruit effectively, your brains can recall information faster and more easily. This is very useful information for people who are preparing for an exam.


Fruit makes you feel better:


Several stories have told us about people that were frequently depressed and how they got out of their depression slowly but surely after consuming substantial amounts of fresh fruit on a regular basis. Eating much fruit can have a mysterious healing effect on human beings. Even better is to drink a lot of freshly squeezed fruit drinks on a regular basis. It will take approximately 30 days until you start to notice the effects. Don't forget to drink these smoothies 20 minutes before the consumption of other meals. This way the fruit will not ferment in the stomach and the nutritious elements can be absorbed by the blood effectively.

Healthy food habits can help you reduce three of the major risk factors for heart attack - high blood cholesterol, high blood pressure and excess body weight. They'll also help reduce your risk of stroke, because heart disease and high blood pressure are major risk factors for stroke.


Use up at least as many calories as you take in.


Aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity on most, if not all, days.


To lose weight, do enough activity to use up more calories than you eat every day.


Eat a diet rich in vegetables and fruits.


Choose whole-grain, high-fiber foods.


Eat fish at least twice a week.


Limit how much saturated fat, trans fat and cholesterol you eat.


Select fat-free, 1 percent fat and low-fat dairy products.


Cut back on foods containing partially hydrogenated vegetable oils to reduce trans fat in your diet.


Cut back on beverages and foods high in calories and low in nutrition, such as soft drinks and


foods with added sugar.


Choose and prepare foods with little or no salt.


If you drink alcohol, drink in moderation.


Following these recommendations will help you achieve and maintain a healthy eating pattern. The benefits of that include a healthy body weight, a desirable blood cholesterol level and a normal blood pressure. Every meal doesn't have to meet all the guidelines. What's most important is to establish an overall healthy eating plan for the long term.


A Human Diet:


A healthy diet should consist for a great deal of freshly squeezed fruit juices, raw fruits and vegetables. Some tips:




  1. A good start is to eat and drink more fresh fruits;
