Disclaimer -- As said above, this litte piece is not on Gifts........or choosing Gifts for a girlfriend (i was gonna write on that but i've already written one on Choosing gifts for a girlfriend), So I thought i'd generalize this one into What Women Want......What they want in terms of a partner or a guy.........I didnt really find a topic where I could post the review so i'm posting it down here......And anyways....as justification.....who said What Women Want is only physical Gifts......i'm sure they do want the gifts but then they do want a lot more too, be it tangible or intangible stuff......
I've got jaundice so I might be a trifle late in replyin to your comments, but rest assured. I will reply to them.What women want………I’ve finally figured out the answer to this question. I think I have. Nope….you’re not going to learn the answer this easy……you’re gonna have to go through the whole torture of reading my review. There have been a couple of times when I’ve literally pulled my hair after listening what my friends consisting of the fairer sex have to say about their likes, dislikes, tastes……Wants……whatever you may prefer to call it.
I have previously written a review on this book titled “How to win girls and influence women.” For the life of me….right now….i am not able to recall the name of the author, so you’ll just have to go back and check it out. My main impetus for writing this review has emerged after I read that book.
Yeah….i know, all you guys must be thinking how exactly I got any ideas about what women want from the book titled ‘How to win girls and influence women.’ Well….i’m as lost as you are, but whatever stuff I got to read from the book drove me to this conclusion of a hydra-headed self-propagating monster of a problem in today’s world…..What is it that Women really want, not in terms of extra pepperoni on a pizza or a chocolate milk-shake, but more of on the lines of what they look for in a guy!
Well trust me, I’m hardly qualified to write on this. I’ve got no experience with women. Infact, there was this particular girl I really liked and since I really had feelings for her, I asked her to go steady with me. Well….for a couple of years, she led me down the garden path and then said “No”. So well…..that was an year back, I daresay I haven’t really thought about any girl seriously since then, but just goes to show how unpredictable women are. Just when you think you’re making an impression on them, out they blurt a “no” as if I were a waiter in a restaurant asking her if she would like mayonnaise on her salad…..
Well….so I tried and I lost, but there’s no shame in that…..or is that just positive thinking…haha. Anyways….after this “pre-relationship break-up”, I was obviously a little dejected. And so my friend got this book for me. The title proudly proclaimed, How to Win Girls and Influence Women. I hurled the book back at my pal saying I didn’t need any help from a goddamn 'pick-her-up-yourself-book'. But he put his face round my door, threw the book back towards me and said “hey, just take a look at this willya, you’ll be convinced it wasn’t your fault”
So, I did…..and lemme tell you, the book is an absolute blast. I wont write much about the book as I have already previously reviewed it. Hey guess what, I just remembered the name of the author, its by Dale Carnegie. But now this is again a case of Useful Info, But at an inappropriate moment. Anyways, commin back……the book provided me a lot of insights about how to pick up girls which I didn’t really need but more importantly, how the female mind works (Assuming, they indeed do have a mind………kidddin………jezzzzus)
Alright, so here’s a little something of what I got in the book. The author interviewed 12…..or was it 20…..gorgeous women and asked them what they look for in a guy, a stranger whom they’ve just met or a friend of an acquaintance or something close to that.
Well…..out came 20 replies and different ones at that. Reading through some of them I formed my basis of what actually women want, and more importantly the base of this review.
One of the drop-dead-beauties was of the opinion that she would prefer the guy to be a charmer, a snake…….who could make her blush and have that drawling-teasin voice to make her go over the edge
The next one was of the opinion she would like the guy to stutter a little while making an advance or just appear a bit nervous, so she can be sure, he’s not a guy who’s a wily, skilled and highly professional flirt. (Read as Type-1 Guy mentioned above)
Now suppose, these two women above went out for coffee and a guy joined them at a table having either one of the two attitudes potrayed above, I suppose he’s got a 50-50 chance of loading 4th base, coz it’s all dependent on the dame he chooses.
Then you have a couple more instances, where one women said, she would like her guy to be quite good looking while the next one said that to her, looks didn’t matter at all….Having had the two extremities, the third one one was the opinion that she didn’t like guys who were hunks or even poor looking, she just preferred an average looking guy.
A gorgeous blonde airhostess went for guys who had a sense of humour and liked to laugh a lot, while a brunette thought guys who laughed a lot were totally uncool and a big bore.
My point is just that…..Women…..they do know what they want allright……but there’s no standardized answer……not that we guys do have a standard answer for “What guys want (in a girl)” But hey, if you initialize a survey or anything, I’m damn sure, we can, if-not emerge on a consensus-ad-diem, atleast get an answer in adverbs and adjectives to which the atleast 90% of the guys would agree to. Infact, if I may make a little variation to the above statement……I’d rephrase it …….that we would get a standard answer to which all the guys would agree to in respect to 90% of the qualities we look for in girls.
So…..thats basically what I deciphered about the ever-debatious topic of What Women Want. IF, INCASE a women does really know what she wants…………you can bet your last dollar that its not going to be the same as the next women you meet on the street……..
As for me….i’m off to check out this new chick a friend of mine just got. She’s got amazing body and an even more vivacious and delightful voice. Her name is the Skoda Octavia RS, a 150 bhp cousin sister of the Audi TT, but hey……that’s a different story altogether…..or should I say…..a different review together.
Atleast I know what this lady wants…….its pure and unadultrated……………………………………..petrol!!!!
