Hey momsie!!!. Review on Choosing Gifts for a Mother

Now we all have to agree on one thing, in terms of women, our mothers are THE most forgiving, caring, undemanding kind around…. I mean, no other woman at least, is gonna let you get away with forgetting her birthday or anniversary and then make it a point to do something special for you on yours…and why? Coz you are her precious “baby”!

And when u think about it, she IS your most favourite person in the world who you would buy something for….because it doesn’t matter how thoughtless u are and how useless the card u picked up at the last minute is, she’s gonna give u one of those smiles that lights up the room and makes your heart melt……. hell you’ll even forget how undeserving you are to receive that kind of affection!

Now its time for a change!

So what’re u gonna do about it?  Here are a few tips to do something nice for your dear old darling mum!

First, gifts need not be restricted to her b’day, anniversary and mother’s day…. Pick her up something small every now and then just to remind her that u aren’t as uncaring as u might appear to be at times….doesn’t have to be anything big or special, depends on what she likes, some special food she loves from a certain place…. “Ma don’t cook tonight, I'm bringing something home”…and this time that smile she gives u this time, is one u deserve! Trust me it’ll feel good! And how difficult is it to do anyway?

Stuff like that goes a long way with mother and they appreciate these little thing a lot more than….other women? lol!

Anyhow, that was the every now and then surprise u could pop up for her, and in actuality when you think about it, its these little gestures that u do that really count!

And when it does come down to the occasions, don’t be lazy and a , put some thought into it, plan a little ahead….THINK! And with a little luck u can get her something she will love for what it is, rather than because it’s a gift from you! And here’s the killer part, when u do the extra bit and get her something she truly wants, you will feel the difference!  And it is pretty simple too! Mothers are pretty easy to buy stuff for as it is! They aren’t fussy AND they don’t look at the price tag! A simple bouquet of her favourite flowers will mean a lot to her!  A card made by your own hand….mama mia! That is one of those “actions speak louder than words” things.

And yes I realize that the above points I’ve mentioned are pretty standard to all women, but here’s the interesting part: - As we grow older our attention shifts from our mothers to girls to girlfriends to girlfriends to girlfriends to fiancé’s to wives to whatever and its easy for your mum to kind of fade into the background and that is something to be avoided don’t u think? She’s done enough for you in your life that you could do a little something for her now!
