5 Indians -once Music band, venue-London
One bank robbery (one too many, we have witnessed an Ankhen, a Kaante before)
and a bomb blast by the sea side...
London police nab 2 of the Indians in connection to the above mentioned crimes.
The other 3 are either dead/underground.The 2 Indians are looking for a lawyer.
Enter dynamic Anil Kapoor...
Famous lawyer in the Queens Land, he takes up the case to acquitt the Indians.
Here in starts the game.
Anil Kapoor wants to know everything about the 5 people.
After getting all the details, Anil fights the case, wins it as well.
However ,there is a problem.
Everything told to him by the 2 during the interrogation is false.
All the stories told to Anil Kapoor are fabricated stright from the cover of a book lying on his table.
Didnt get much??
Anyways, the movie is definitley worth a dekko...
If one is looking for derivatives, there is Usual Suspects which raises its hand for the originality.
Also, a hindi teleseries on Zee, can vouch for that. But plagiarism apart, for those like me who havent seen the original , wat the heck...
The techincal details of the film are handled well, the intermittent flashbacks, the actions scenes -A one...
however the screenplay and dialogues are pretty amateur.Even the seasoned Anil Kaporr is made to say some stupid lines for nought.
The cast...
Sushma Reddy - was she there
Emraan Hashmi- like a fish out of water...no Ki*s for him here
Arshaad - continues to impress
Suniel Anna - he is going to be a second rung actor soon..a la Shakti kapoor, Johny Lever
Tanushree - oodles of appeal..a scare for the Bipashas and Priyankas... a good effort
Irrfan - we all knew he is a talent warehouse...
Anil Kapoor - another feather in his cap..after No Entry, My Wifes.... and this..lakhan bhai is raring to go...
Chocolat -is no great shakes as a movie, see it if you like some suspense around you, otherwise turn your remote to the Greg-Saurav episode..enough suspense n drama in there..
