Great experience. A guide is a must.The fort is huge so you would need almost half a day to go through it all.This is an amazing fort with so much of history.
The fort is really beautiful. We took a guide to explain us the history of the plac explained us very well. He charged us about Rs 450 and it was all worth it
It has'n' number of stories viz. Rani Padmini, Meerabai, Rana Kumbha, Alluddin Khilji etc to feel on the fort. It takes us to historic era. It has nice architecture and carvings.Each gates have its own name
The history of the fort is as impressive as its sprawling facade. The citadel of many great Rajput heroes, It has witnessed so much of bloodshed probably not witnessed by any other location in the last 2000 years history of India.
Chittor fort has lot to tell about Rajputana culture. It still preserves the memorial of courageous Rajput and Rajputanies who died to keep their honor and dignity.
One cannot walk the entire place. You should have a vehicle of your own to go through all the palaces.from the top of the fort seeing the whole city looks such a beautiful lovely
