I find myself going to this place, again and again. It's such a great place. The food is plated with all the heart and the food is made with great passion. Of course they charge for it, but it's worth the price.
We have had China Gate special soup which has crabmeat, chicken, tofu, prawns and mushrooms in it and although it costs some 399 rupees, it is absolutely delicious and healthy.
For starters, I have tried Barbeque Chicken and Thai chicken and they were both pretty tasty.
For maincourse, I'd recommend Chicken Lotus Rice, which has magical flavours, really!
It comes in this big lotus leaf and the rice is really moist and full of veggies.
I know, some of you might say, who wants to have veggies when there's chicken? And I am one of you, too, but these veggies are really tasty.
And I am a good critique when it comes to food. You can trust my tastebuds.
After eating a full course meal of soup, appetizer and maincourse, our bill usually sums up to Rs. 1500 for two. Not more than that.
