I was referred to CB by a friend of mine and this got converted after a month or so.
The restaurant is bang opposite the Shiv Sena Bhavan in Shivaji Park area.
You can get down at Dadar West station and take a minimum fare cab or a host of bus routes will drop you at Shivaji Park bus stop both towards bandra or towards fort.
I had booked a table the previous day by calling them and I was well received on phone and most importantly I was asked for the occasion!
The contact numbers are there on their website.
The welcome was great.A nice cosy table was kept reserved in a corner for us.
The lady who ushered us inside informed us about who was going to take care of us.
Osden was the captain who ensured we were well attended too.
The ambience was great, and just the way I wanted it to be.peaceful and tranquil.
The variety of dishes was superb and CB has a menu card on the website too!
The average price of all dishes put together will not exceed INR 600(some dishes are at INR 925)
Our queries were well received by the waiters and Osden was there to guide us.
We zoomed down on General Taos chicken gravy and spicy crabmeat rice!
And they were yummy.less spicy and amazing to say the least.easily enough for too people.
We did not go for starters as the sweet corn chicken soup had filled us already!
For desserts the coconut caramel custard was an absolute beauty and laid out in a nice convex bowl and tough yet smooth and silky and sweetness perfectly injected.
The icing on this entire cake was a brownie cake with vanilla ice cream and a single candle atop burning away to glory and suddenly CB reverberated with "Congratulations and Jubilations" and Osden and team started the applause. Our wedding anniversary.Ladies and gentlemen!
Believe me this was my first visit and trust me this wasn't m
