I was in Pichavaram on Dec 26th 2009 at about 1.30 PM and I was in for a shock when I went to the boat booking counter. I was told that I could hire a boat only at about 3.30 PM. I went with my family and my mind said that having come to this place, it would be worth waiting for 2 hours.
Again I was in for a shock - there is no decent place to stretch and relax while we have to wait for the availability of the boat. With two kids, I found it difficult to manage in the hot sun and I was really wondering why nobody thought it fit to develop some sort of park with some decent play area for the kids.
After about 10 minutes, I decided to leave the place - probably I missed a great boat ride(my ratings are based on what I have read and not what I had experienced)
Two suggestions to the Government
Atleast during holidays can the number of boats available be increased?
Develop a good park with playing facilities with kids near the TTDC restaurent
