Chicken soup is supposed to make you feel better when you are ill and the very aptly titled Chicken soup series does just that..makes you feel better.I am a sucker for true life stories and almost all the stories in these wonderful books are contributions from readers.These books are collections of highly inspiring,touching experiences that people have faced.I first read one of these when I was recuperating from an accident and some of the stories helped me put things in perspective, made me look on the brighter side of things.I have collected a few books from the series-Chicken soup for the mother`s soul has beautiful stories of the relationship between mother and child-(some stories will make you cry).Chicken soup for the Womens soul,For the teenage soul,Kids soul,are also very good,they even have one for the cat & dog lovers soul.
These books are not very expensive(they are widely available on roadside bookstalls also) but they make good gifts.
