Well, I must say The O'hare International Airport is one of the World's most beautiful airports of the world. I was in awe with the place. Was there for pretty 6 months and saw plenty of snowfall(nearly 4 months mid nov, dec, jan and feb). Sophisticated and rocking city with everyone busy in his life. Very cold in winters - sometimes reached minus 10 and too much of snowfall - First it was a pretty sight but later on it became a nightmare for me as that would mean complete absence of outdoor activities, which I don't like. One remarkable differnce was the driving style - things just opposite to what we have in India - People drive on their right side and in a car, the steering is on left side! I took too much time to adjust. Not very pedestrian friendly - looks like everyone owns a car. A nice thing was Drive-in ATMs - You don't need to come out of your car to get money from ATm, just open the window and things are done.
Loved the Millenium Park, The famous bean structure(designed by an Indian as they told me), Navy Pier, Sears Tower Building, The museum, The big, blue, beautiful and clean lakes and the lakeshore drive. Eating outside was quite cheap with burritoes of Chipotle and Subway as my favourites. Ofcourse the subway which we have here are much different in taste.
The best part is - safety and security. Go out of your hose anytime and you are safe on the roads.
