Chicago is a film jewlled with many amirecan academy's awards and baftta awards and some more for the year 2003. once you heard about a film won that much of prizes you may think that it could be a great film or werried one. well, chicago don't do that. it's not that diffecult to understand and not too meanless either. although the story's event runs in the far past time but it suites the nowadays life in one way or another.
the film discuss the madness famouse people have to stay under spot light, and as the film says '' if you can't ba famouse be infamouse''. that gone well in the film.
ROXI(RENE)is a poor married gal that felt a cold in her relation ship with her husband. around the corner their was a hot steamy guy waiting for her. she didn't present that resistence for the emotion and did the sin.
a quick punishment from god was a fight took a place at the end of the meeting of the two sinners which led to roxi killing the man. two shoots in the heart.
roxi was taken to the preson with a sure hanging up case on the way. there she met FELMA (kathren zita jones) the night club famouse dancer_ the idle for roxi in show business_ who entered the preson for killing her lover who cheated her with her dance mate. felma was no good person to roxi and refused to help her in any thing.
in that time MAMA ( queen latifa) showed up. mama was a bad preson keeper. she agreed to help roxi inretun of a big amount of money. how she would help her? get her the undefeated lawyer mr. bell
rechard gere play the role of the lawyer of both felma and roxi and goes along the film playing gmes with express in order to win the public support for roxi's case. did he sucsseded? yeah he did and very well and did that affect the judgment of the court room? this is some thing you find out when you watch the film your self.
over all the film was more than wonderfull. every little detail was well taken care off. the light, the customs, the locations, and dance steps every thing was just did too right.

rene who was nominated for best actress for that role was more than great. but not in a way to win the prize. some thing facke was running along with her preformance and you can't figure it out.
cathren who was nominated and won the prize for her role, did the role as if she was doing it all her life. as she were dancing all her life long. she was perfect.
richard was new and fresh in the film. he was good enough to one doing a musical film for the first time. his dance steps were smoth and calmy but he did good
the dialuoge was short sentences almost along the film but meanfull. the most important events were shaped in a musical atmospher which makes it stick to your mind
