I had been to Chiang Mai during the mid-90s as a kid. Its a tension free zone because its one place where you just lie down or close your eyes anywhere.
Chiang Mai's beaches are so calm and clean, the sand's so smooth that you wonder if there's God's hand in making the beach. You wouldn't find the roaring sea nor would you find the massive holiday crowd that you're used to in Pattaya or Rayong.
A perfect place for couples who would like to be completely into each other. It climate is extremely condusive for romance, not too hot with a nice breeze.
No need to worry about accomodation as there are several of those typical Thai cottages in Chiang Mai. The people also wouldn't bother you. The population of Chiang Mai are relaxed, laid-back and extremely hospitable. Its one place you should find time to go, especially in a busy world that we live in.
In the beaches you lie,
Feelin the flavor of the Thai,
Its only in Chiang Mai,
where one can have the whole pie.
