I bought this a aveo-uva on 30th April 2009 from Dulichand Motors in Kolkata. The only defect I have found so far which is not a simple one is that the image of the dashboard reflects on the wind screen which makes the driving very difficult at times.
Will GM suggest some sort of non reflective paint or change the texture of the dash to prevent this? The car is other wise very nice. But regarding fuel I am keeping my fingers crossed in fact it seemed to be a bit hungry on fuel especially in the city drive.
I have so far driven only 350 kms and all in the busy street of kolkata. The drive ablity is excellent, but still the the big defect in the car is **the reflection of the dashboard on the wind screen.
*This singly defect will wipe out all the efforts to build a nice car by the company. The reflection is so intense at times that it nearly blinds the driver and may cause accident if not utmost careful. How could a company like GM igonore such a defect in its fleet of cars.
