Good Car in Good Budget. Review on Chevrolet Spark

I bought Chevy Spark LS in Hyderabad on October 8th 2009. I went to Pune from Hyderabad and also visited other places like Bhadrachalam, Srisailam, Basara etc on this car. I completed 8000 KM in 6 months. When I went to Bhadrachalam, the mileage was 17 KMPL on AC and this was immediately after first service (1000KM) and during Pune trip, I got 16 KMPL. I found Ghat roads on the way to Mahabaleswar, Khandala, Lonavala etc. That's why I think I got less mileage. I am extremely satisfied on mileage. In Hyderabad city, I am getting 14 TO 15 KMPL.

Since it is a small car, obviously the space inside is small but bigger than Alto and I don't expect more size in this low budget. Boot space is OK. AC is  good. Pickup is excellent. Engine is so smooth such that sometimes you won't feel that the car is ON. I recommend Spark users to switch on AC atleast after 10 mins of starting the engine and don't start AC when the car is in Neutral. Start AC when the car is running.  The Car cools faster if you follow the above steps.

The bad part of chevy Spark is Ground Clearance. It touches Speed Breakers sometimes even at <10KMPH speed. Side walls for front glass obstacles the view while taking curves. Head lights are not very effective but OK, acceptable.

This my overall view of Spark. But 100% sure, its a mentainance free. Enjoy 3 yrs mentainance free benfit.
