GM is just cheating all consumers in India. I recently ordered a Spark in Chennai on October 17th and the dealer promised me a waiting time of maximum of 15 days but I am yet to receive my car and it is first week of December and the dealer keeps saying another 15 days. The booking fees of Rs.25000 is also non-refundable and I donno when the car will be delivered.
I wrote to GM and I am yet to receive a satisfactory reply from them. Currently GM has a very less production capacity in India and they have already overbooked spark model (over 15000 orders as per the dealer). So my sincere request to readers is never go for this car because you will get locked by the deceptive words of this company and the dealer. The dealer has been repeatedly being disillusioned by the company as the company never reveals the consignment being shipped by it and also the dealer is constantly kept at tender hooks. Recently my dealer has throw up his hands in desperation as I had charged him for lying to me and even admitted to me of the inefficiencies of this company.
Many prospective consumers as my friends I would tell you never never never go for this car.
